CESISP is an interuniversity Centre for Development of Product Sustainability established in 2006 from the interaction among different specialised abilities, Academic Departments and Advanced Research Centres.

The members of the Centre renewed in 2016 and 2021 are the Department of Civil, Chemical and Environmental Engineering (DICCA) of the University of Genova and the Institute of Management (IdM) of the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies. CESISP is deeply interdisciplinary and consists of university professors and researchers, experts in sustainability, circular economy, process engineering, economics and political science.

CESISP arises from a desire to set up a centre of excellence for a cutting-edge research on: Circular Economy, Industrial Symbiosis, Product Sustainability.
